What's the story with the Ulan? Kind of Siberia-esque, where there are people there, but it's too cold for anyone to really care? -Slitherrr

I think that's about right. Sort of a viking/mongol land of rampaging, lawless hordes. At least as far as anyone in the mainland is concerned. The only interesting thing I know about them is they are an offshoot of Sayid's Peteran Heresy founded by his adopted tragidorian son Mikos. --Msallen 16:15, 16 December 2009 (EST)
Yeah, a little more Slavic Eastern Europe, with more ice barbarian type tribes to the faaar south. The Ulan is a dense, cold arboreal forest made up of various clans and tribes that spend most of their time infighting and raiding. It's also teaming with monsters and other hostiles, all combined preventing the nations of the Mainland from penetrating too deeply, although some logging goes down on the periphery. They share a common religion and alphabet, but are otherwise seriously splintered. Every fantasy setting needs the barbarian wilds trope, and that would be The Ulan. -gm
