The wording is somewhat ambiguous. Can you clarify in the feat text whether this applies to wands that include die rolls in their spell effects? -Mattie

You mean, in the case of a Wand of Cure Light Wounds, can this feat be used to reroll the 1d8 + 1? I would imagine yes--there are precious few items that would get a benefit from this feat otherwise (although a Deck of Many Things might be pretty killer in the hands of a Gnome). -Slitherrr
I actually assumed it didn't and that this was similar to the old school Wild Mage ability. I've seen someone port that wild mage stuff as Student of Chaos (Ex): Whenever a wild mage uses a magic item that offers a randomly determined effect (such as Bag of Trick or Rod of Wonder), he can roll twice and choose between the two results.
The Wondrous Items that I suspect this would apply to would be: Bag of Tricks, Deck of Illusions, Deck of Many things, Robe of Useful Items, and Well of Many Worlds. It would be quite awesome if it applies to wands, but if it does, it's pretty durned powerful. -Mattie
