The name of a Wydmoor diviner who worked with Edrell as a ward boss for the Residential district. Never seen in public, all business with Darnell is undertaken via an enchanted bronze gargoyle door-knocker on the front of Darnell's door.
Some, such as Germain, have privately suggested that a "Darnell" does not exist at all, and is just a fiction created by Edrell, who is himself a wizard of unknown skill.
