165 years after the Martyrdom, the church still had no formal orthodoxy.

Very little of substance came out of this first meeting. No formal textual canon was agreed upon, although church leaders agreed on the Oath and the Creed. Additionally, all agreed that Alexandria fulfilled the prophecies and, as such, they were essentially obsolete. While still a part of the greater church tradition, they were declared non-canonical.
