Description: It is said it was the halflings who first befrended dogs, from even before man, elf, or dwarf had broken the first ox or horse. The halfling dog rider is strong evidence for that ancient bond. The secrets of training war dogs have been with halflings since before the First Empire, and stories of Dog Riders harassing the Ubrekti are still told. Masters of the javalin and light halfling lance, dog riders' lightning speed and maneuverability allow them to disrupt and harass enemies with ease.

Canine Charge While you are mounted, you may use the size category and strength bonus of your mount instead of your own for checks, such as bull's rush, etc.
Battle Herding Dogs are masters at getting creatures to go where they want them to, doubly so with an angry, lance-bearing man or woman on top. When mounted, you may charge as if you had the Improved Bull's Rush feat, except you may substitute your animal handling or ride bonus instead of your attack bonus for the check.. Additionally, the number of squares you force the target to move need not be in a straight line.
Skill Mastery You may take an automatic ten with the listed skill, even in situations where it is otherwise impossible.
Lance Mastery You receive a bonus to hit and damage equal to the listed number when using the exotic Halfling Light Lance.
Unbroken Charge: may charge across difficult terrain and may move through allies as part of a charge
Turn On a Dime: does not have to move 10 feet in a straight line before a charge (though he or she still must move 10') and does not have to move in the same direction after the charge as per ride-by attack

Exceptional Mount Exceptional mounts are specially selected and trained variants of regular mounts possessed by certain prestige classes. They increase in power as the character gains in their prestige class level. If killed, a new exceptional mount must be trained, which takes time and effort.
