This is a brightly glowing light that was at the top of an Elven Lighthouse before it was "liberated" by Gnob's Folly. It is a weightless, but corporeal (a bit spongy) sphere of about 18 inches in diameter.
Its removal triggered the appearance of shadows on the archipelago that contained the lighthouse. Its relationship to those shadows is not completely known.

- Double healing for anyone who rests in its light (stacking linearly with heal checks--i.e. a heal-checked person in the light heals at 3x)
