Situated in the north-central valleys of Fresia, Galindai serves as home to the University of Fresia. It is the third largest city in Fresia, after the Capital and Druwin, near the Flannari border. (which is only larger due to its high military concentration).

The city rests in the most affluent area in all of Fresia (though not very rich compared to global standards), and is home to many of the greatest craftsmen alive.

The Imperial Winter Palace is located here, and the Council of Princes is required to meet there three times annually (with the other two sessions - and Imperial elections - held in the south-central city of Rugis).
