I think this should be four points, at most. Comments? -gm

Well, the writers of Complete Adventurer thought five was balanced. Like we talked about, it doesn't allow any bonuses past the normal skill max, unlike the other skill bonus feats, and things like Negotiator effectively add two points each to the two skills involved, disregarding rank maximums. I think, considering that, I would say that five would even be too few, except that the feat can be stacked. Hmmm... Not only is it spreadable while Skill Focus isn't, but for a low INT character they would take this every time over Skill Focus. It's almost like the Complete Adventurer typo'd and intended this to be targeted solely at out-of-class skills. Heh: If this feat is allowed as-is, I'd really like to see a targeted version for whenever Skill Focus would be available (e.g. for things like Templar's granted Ride-based feats).

Requires picking a class?

While coding this into Hero Lab, I realized if you're multiclass you need to pick a class to base this feat on, right? Or in our world do we play that your skill points for all your classes can be spread however you want? (Hero Lab tracks skill pt pools per class.) I notice our version is described differently than this version, so maybe it's different. -Mattie
