The logistics thing made an interesting point, that sometimes characters have to hand-wave that sort of skill with a roll. Maybe we could formalize it somehow? Here's the formula we used:

• +1 per two levels in Ranger or Professional (presumably other classes, too, like Cleric [but not Evangelist], but probably not Bard, Sorc/Wiz, Rogue, Druid, etc)
• +1 per level in Fighter or Field Marshall (presumably others--Paladin is an obvious choice, and many of the martial-themed Prestiges. The Prestige classes also represent paragons of leadership, so maybe that should be taken into account? Or maybe not)
• +Profession (something soldierly). Encouraging points in Profession skills is pretty weird, but this may be useful enough to justify a couple of points.

Maybe there could be a bonus from Leadership feat? That would seem to apply directly. Stat bonus is already accounted for by Profession (so, Wis).-Slitherrr
