The Elven Lighthouse is a strange building that stands on the Eastern end of an archipelago [name needed --slith] at the edges of the Hakni Sea and the Sea of Tears. It is four stories tall, with windows spaced at intervals, topped with a bright shining light that faces Eastward. It was most recently discovered by Gnob's Folly. Its purpose is unknown, but it has evidently stood for millenia. It has been maintained in perfect condition by extremely powerful magic, which seems to be supported by strange, white, serpent-like beings with a single hand and the ability to fly. When the serpents are alive, the floor they occupy slowly regenerates itself, and animated furniture acts to protect the lighthouse from intruders. The serpents are typically kept in rooms with (unanimated) iron doors, presumably for their own protection.

The lighthouse has all the rooms that would typically be associated with a dwelling-type building--kitchen, supply room, a small armory, and so forth. Among these rooms is an observation room (also facing East), and a temple to the various Sidhe members of the Demi-Pantheon.

Currently [FI 1401--slith], floors one through three of this lighthouse are in ruins, smashed recklessly by Gnob's Folly as they attempt to find a resolution to the Sahuagin conflict on the archipelago (and, subsequently, escape to continue their own voyage).
