Grandle Mag rose to prominence as a bandit and raider in the West of Alexia, fighting the occupation of the Odessans. In no small part due to his efforts, Odessa finally abandoned the Alexian west to concentrate on consolidating their effective hold on the east, hiring the Bog Wraiths to maintain nominal control of at least the Alexian capital city. Initially, he also fought against the Bog Wraiths until his capture by the same. After a brief period of imprisonment (and presumed negotiation), Grandle Mag joined the Wraiths, bringing many of his band with him.
