Grimm Gallant, the fallen Dwarven Traveler, resided near Nia-Agliare, maintaining some control there while more-or-less attending Arekson as one of the five members of The Cartel. Grimm was part of the original Traveler contingent sent by the Church to protect travelers along the Traveler's Highway that terminates here. He was converted (presumably by Arekson) to a vampire, and since that point wore all black armor, decorating his armor with skulls and teeth, and - if rumors are to be believed - took up the heretic rites of the old gods (Marwynn had surmised, from her knowledge of the old Testimonials, that this describes a Blackguard, a.k.a., Antipaladin). Grimm controlled the Traveler's road, at the protests of the half dozen or so remaining Travelers, and was responsible for Nia-Agliare's city gates and its entry fees. He was destroyed by Gnob's Folly in a pitched battle a couple of miles West of Nia-Agliare.
