If this page becomes a halfling bodice-ripper, kimi or maggr can expect a swift, in game death. absalom 17:43, 20 May 2011 (EDT)

I know how to create ONE thing: content. You'll notice that I don't even have a log in or know how to change the damn logo. 75.64.111.120 19:52, 23 January 2009 (EST) <-- I learned that from when I was into Lostpedia!

What do you know! I do have an account. Detarame 19:57, 23 January 2009 (EST)

I think it is a Mithril Chain *Shirt* (Light armor), not Mithril Chain *Mail* (Medium armor) -gm

Are you taking into account that mithril armor moves up one weight class? If chainmail is normally medium, mithril chainmail would be light.

No, i wasn't. Might be chainmail after all, but it's still worth double checking. Otherwise, why wouldn't I give a mithril breastplate? ;) -gm
Well, because clerics don't care about armor weight. Might as well have been medium-weight full plate? If she can learn to ride that dog she'll be a little tank without much or any speed penalty. --Msallen 09:17, 21 December 2009 (EST)
She actually has some plate armor that she doesn't wear, I believe? Anyway, it's all to the good she's decided on keeping mithril, no way you're riding a dog wearing plate mail, even small sized. Also, clerics with eight strength and 75% encumbrance values due to size do care about armor weight, if not weight category. Where did she get it from and that will help determine what size it is. -gm
I thought we had a whole conversation in game about this. Maybe I was talking about full-plate and you were talking about breast-plate. It is halfling-sized and mithril... I think the dog could manage it. --Msallen 10:12, 21 December 2009 (EST)
Didn't it come from the scrag stash? --Msallen 10:12, 21 December 2009 (EST)
I thought her unused plate mail did? Hmm. If only someone kept notes! -gm
Just to interject some numbers: Full plate, M-sized: 50 lbs; S-sized: 25 lbs; Mithril S-sized: 12.5 lbs. Riding dog carrying capacity: 100 or less for light load, 101-200 for medium, 201-300 for heavy. 8 Str carrying capacity: 26 or less for light, 27-53 for medium, 54-80 for heavy. -Slitherrr

Love the summary of the quest. I thought y'all had attacked the bog wraiths, but everyone kept telling me that you hadn't. Write more! --Msallen 09:17, 21 December 2009 (EST)

That's because they DIDN'T attack anybody! -gm
I mean, you really think that party of lvl 4 guys could have beaten back the Ralth and like three dozen men? Not even Kib could do that! -gm
Heh. Give him a few Field Marshal levels, first... -Slitherrr

Need moar fan fic! Don't you think they should include more of that Germain character, though? That dude is awesome! --Msallen

Indeed, if only the player could be so well behaved. -gm

WTF is "Tincture of valencia"? I like the name.

A tiny potion from Spain, obviously. -Slitherrr
It's an herbal preparation of sweet orange oil, smaller amounts of other herbs (usually garlic, echinacea, allspice, chamomile, and dandelion), and drinking alcohol- usually as close to pure grain alcohol as possible. The name comes from the common usage of valencia oranges (or sweet oranges) for orange rind. Bitter oranges wouldn't be appropriate for the tincture given their rinds contain substantially more tyramine metabolites which cause stimulant and appetite suppressant effects. Tincture of valencia is to herbal medicine what antibiotics are to modern medicine. --HelenAngel 20:36, 15 May 2011 (EDT)
