  • Raided the Wolf Clan’s Storeroom, as well as a storeroom for the Bear Clan.
  • Killed the Bear Clan’s chieftain
  • Killed most of the rest of the Wolf Clan (we think). Probably still have the chieftain left.

This Game

Wolf Clan Throne Room

  • After defeating the 10 frost giants of the Wolf Clan, we go down a wide hallway that was well trafficked until about 6 weeks ago.
  • Throughout this area are piles of frost giant bones, and evidence that they have been gnawed on by wolves and possibly dire bears. Also, several clan standards have been destroyed and are now lying in piles of wood and cloth.
  • What appears to be the frost giant king is nailed up to the wall, mummified and naked, near his throne. One leg is missing, and he has a huge bite mark out of his shoulder and large claw marks on his body.
  • Other than that, this area is deserted.
  • The party decides to rest for the night and start on level 2 the next day.

Level 2: Warmer Climes

  • The ogre KaleesarynnToken.PNG Kaleesarynn mind controlled is down here playing dice with other ogres in a bouldered off area. This is probably where the prisoners are being kept when they’re not working.
  • In this area, there is a boulder that has been pushed into an opening. There are bloody ogre handprints all over it, and it has been reinforced.
  • AlToken.PNG Al seeps through the boulder that we know leads to the prisoner holding area, which alerts the ogre captain. He seeps back through as the rest of us get ready to dimension door into battle!
  • KaleesarynnToken.PNG Kaleesarynn dimension doors everyone but AlToken.PNG Al into the middle of the ogre group and battle begins.
  • The party ends up kind of in the middle, but manages to do decently against the ogres as SteinToken.PNG Stein holds the rear and QuinalinToken.PNG Quinalin and MoseToken.PNG Mose press the majority of the ogres toward the entrance.
  • At some point, a storm dragon appears and does a fly by on MoseToken.PNG Mose and plants itself right in front of KaleesarynnToken.PNG Kaleesarynn and LEToken.PNG LE.
  • Shortly thereafter, the ettin summoner who sent the dragon appears and creates an obsidian field in the middle of the battlefield, entangling SteinToken.PNG Stein and MoseToken.PNG Mose, then follows it up with a couple of pits, one of which SteinToken.PNG Stein falls into.
  • The party takes down most of the ogres, and QuinalinToken.PNG Quinalin takes out the ettin by dramatically using acrobatics checks to sprint over the obsidian field and leap the magical pit, landing just in front of the ettin. QuinalinToken.PNG Quinalin takes a fist in the face, but then follows up with a huge strike driving his scythe through the ettin summoner’s skull.
  • Finally, the party defeats all but one of the ogres. The last one appears to have run off to inform others.
  • QuinalinToken.PNG Quinalin and MoseToken.PNG Mose cautiously move deeper into the cave, and QuinalinToken.PNG Quinalin turns a corner to see the ogre on its way back.
  • AlToken.PNG Al is finally out of gaseous form and turns into an earth elemental for the next phase of battle.
  • From the darkness, 6 half-giant honor guards rush toward the group.
  • QuinalinToken.PNG Quinalin is basically surrounded by honor guards and one remaining ogre. QuinalinToken.PNG Quinalin steps up his game with a deadly combo of whirlwind tripping attacks that knocks everyone over followed up with attacks of opportunity as they fall.
  • After one of QuinalinToken.PNG Quinalin’s trip attacks, KaleesarynnToken.PNG Kaleesarynn notices that they’re using psionic abilities to get back up and move around without taking AoOs.
  • Finally, the Bandit King of Wa appears. He is a huge monstrosity with 18” long claws dripping with green goo. His face is elongated into a horrible snout, with rows and rows of jagged teeth. He uses copious amounts of psionic abilities during the battle, including Summoning Strike, Energy Adaptation, and Thought Shield.
  • He summons QuinalinToken.PNG Quinalin next to him to wail on him, fortunately after AlToken.PNG Al finally materialized and healed him.
